Creating Messages

Users can create new messages by performing the following steps:

Click the Messages icon. The Messages page appears with the Inbox view by default.

Click New Message. The Create Message page appears with prefilled From field displaying the logged in site name and the username.

Refer to the following table and fill in the details:

Select Recipient Category

Select the category from the drop-down list. Available options include:

  • Users

  • User Roles

  • Site

Select Recipient

The username of the recipient.

Add Tags

The user defined tags.

Subject

The subject line of the message. The maximum supported character length is 300.

Body Text

The content of the message.

Format the body text as preferred.

Enable the High Priority flag to send the message as high priority.

Click Attach File(s) to upload supporting files.

Click Send to send the message.

OR

Click Save to save the message as draft under Saved Messages to be sent later.

OR

Click Schedule to schedule the date and time the message must be sent. The message is saved under Scheduled Messages.
